When you find yourself at the edge of that dark abyss waiting to plunge into the darkness

So tired of the pain

So tired of the rage

Wanting to be accepted for who you are but pretending to be everyone else

You don't even know who you are so how can someone else get to know you?

Hiding in the pain

Hiding in the past

There is no future / no future that is any different than your today because you keep reliving the same day over & over again

Regurgitating the same words

Having the same conversation with different people

Every face is the same person in a different body

So now you've chosen

You've chosen to die but how does that stop the pain?

We all want to know that this world would be so much worse without us

Shed your tears

Scream at the top of your lungs

Write down every hurt, slight, wrong choice, foul words, acts, & deeds

DO NOT LEAVE OUT YOURS

This is the place of honesty

Tell the truth

What is it that you want?

What are you willing to do to get it?

No amount of hate is going to replace what you've lost

It's time to put on your big girl pants and do the work

No it's not fair but you must work to get out of it

Work to move past it

Work to heal

Work in your process

Healing is available

Wholeness is being offered if you are willing to ask for it, receive it, and accept it!

Are you willing to work?

Can you see that God didn't want any of the bad that happened to you for you?

Can you see that God is there waiting to fix what is wrong? Waiting to clean you up so that the real you, the you He created you to be can shine through?

Waiting for your light to shine

You choose: Fight to work or give up to die

So I was watching my favorite YT Guru Fauryn78's video on coiling her locs. I have wanted to try this but I thought my locs have gotten way too long for this. So I tried it & loved it! This will be a great style for the summer here in AZ. The only thing is I don't twist my locs often & this requires twisting but hey for 1 summer they can deal with it. I didn't take any pictures before I did it but I will post an old picture, so you can have an idea of how long my locs are & the pictures with the coils! Thx Fauryn for the info!

What's Really Going On?

So I realize I have not been on here in a hot minute. Now that I have been loc'd for 5+ years it is so much easier. No muss, no fuss unless I choose to. My youngest daughter has since cut her locs and is back on the relaxer track. My oldest is still natural but doesn't want to loc just yet. She says she will in the future but not yet. Life if good! I pray you all are doing fine!

I will praise in the summer & yes in the spring, but will I remember to in the winter or the fall? Through it all?
I am very grateful for all you've given me & everything you do!
I'm grateful for the love & you just being you.

When I'm not sure & don't know what to do, I ask you all my questions & you always come through!

I try to always listen & be there for you, but sometimes I fall behind & don't always follow through!
I know my shortcomings & things to work on, but I don't get there fast enough & leave work undone.

But thank you for your patience & leading/guiding me through.

Because God I wouldn't want to live if I didn't have you.

I CHOOSE FREEDOM!

So many were sold. They had not choice. We have many choices today, but I am saddened by what we are choosing. We are choosing to be ignorant. People fought & died to live as they chose. We have a chance to make real changes in this country, but we are fighting about stupid stuff. Why must it be so?

Can we ever have unity in this country? Will we ever choose togetherness, unity, love? Why have we chosen to forget all that this freedom costs?

Time is the one thing that we take for granted, constantly. "I will do it later." Who told you there would be a "later"?

I don't want to waste another 4 years with a President that "will do it later". I want change now! Do you?

~*~Just my thoughts electronically captured. Not telling you who to vote for or what to do in the privacy of your own home. I just want you to make a decision & do what you need to do NOW, while you have a chance. The first Black President or the first woman Vice-President. Let us join together & show that we understand, freedom was/is not free...it costs something. In this country it doesn't usually cost our lives (anymore). Make a choice! Let your voice be heard! Vote your conscience, your beliefs & your conscious!~*~

So lyfe continues to press us forward into the future. As I reflect on my time here I have learned many things about myself & others. Honesty can be difficult and lies easy. Personal responsibility is the one thing most people don't take. Spending money to make yourself feel better, feels great but can add another problem.
These are just my ramblings on-line.

Are we really too blessed to be stessed or are we so stressed we can't receive the blessing that is just waiting for us to take it? I say RELAX & TAKE IT!
